Area Sales Engineers Our sales engineers are more than sales people - they are an integral part of our company and help to steer our future direction. Their input at management level helps determine the way we operate and is always valued.
Currently we have vacancies in two regions for experienced sales professionals or people who are currently in an engineering factory/process environment wanting to get a start in engineering sales. If your looking for a position that offers more than just a competitive salary then we would like to here from you. You must be able to demonstrate commitment and achievement and show how you would be able to expand our business. You will be visiting clients (OEM's and end users) to secure existing business and identify new business opportunities. You will be field based, and will utilise your communication skills to make appointments with influential personnel in your sales area. We will provide you with on-going product training and full support to assist you in your success. You will be working to achieve a target and will need to file reports to the office detailing your activities on a regular basis. One of the first things you'll notice about us is how relaxed the environment appears to be. People are on first name terms with each other from the Managing Director downwards, while an air of openness and informality pervades our offices. We firmly believe people perform better if they're enjoying themselves, and there's certainly a great deal to get excited about. Yet it's a fun that's tempered with a sense of social and commercial responsibility and a keen awareness of the business we're involved in, the manufacturers we represent and the clients we serve.
Position 1. East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. Position 2. Teeside,Tyneside,Cumbria and South West Scotland.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is regarded as essential; AC Drives, Instrumentation, Sensing or Machine Guarding.
Applicants should also hold a competent level of commercial awareness and computer literacy. Efficiency in working alone, time managment and self motivation is required. Good communication skills, including the ability to work as part of a small dynamic team and the ability to establish effective partnerships with clients at all levels is also desirable.
