Conductivity Sensors (RCS)
The conductivity sensors or guards against leaks are designed for detection of electrically conductive liquids. They are ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive areas Zone 0 (gas) and Zone 20 (dust). The sensors are designed as 2 wire versions according to NAMUR DIN 60947-5-6. Thanks to a built in 12 turn potentiometer, it is very easy to make the ideal adjustment for the liquid to be detected. The conductive sensors are available in different body sizes, like for instance M 10 x 1, M 12 x 1 or 1/4" NPT. High quality materials are used for the parts of the sensor bodies that are in contact with the product. Therefore the sensors can be used for applications in the Chemical and Food Industries. Application areas are: - Limit value measuring in containers,
- Leak detection at pneumatic diaphragm pumps, at peristaltic pumps, at centrifugal pumps,
- Min- and Max-Level control of liquids.
