M18 Food and Pharma industry sensors

IFM electronic proximity sensors for the food and Pharma industry.

High ingress-resistance
The sensors of the series efectorm are distinguished by their high tightness in harsh applications, for example in the food and pharma industry. Proof are the protection ratings IP 68 or IP 69 K (type M8 IP 68). The ingress resistance also applies for contact with aggressive cleaning agents (COP compatible).

Wide temperature range
The permissible application range of the sensors covers 0 to 100 °C. Furthermore, the units are extremely resistant to temperature shocks, which is confirmed by tests.

Increased sensing range
The increased sensing range is ensured over the whole temperature range. A set-up LED facilitates installation.

Materials
The reinforced 316L housing ensures higher tightening torques for mounting. The PEEK sensing face and the gold-plated contacts meet the special requirements of the application. 		IFM Electronic proximity sensors for the food and pharma industry.
