PLUSCON field - Food industry

Perfect hygiene is indispensable in the food and medical technology sector. Phoenix Contact have a range of sensor/actuator products designed for these markets.

The sensor/actuator cable with the cable 511 are manufactured with FDA listed materials. This ensures that a migration and contamination of the food is excluded during contact.

The housing of the sensor/actuator boxes for the food industry is made of 1.4404 stainless steel. The use of stainless steel and the fact that the distributors stand on "feet" mean that the box can be cleaned thoroughly. The distribution boxes fulfill the protection type IP69K.
