Customer Notice Regarding Crimson Software Rev. March 23, 2024 [22:15]

Devices running Crimson® 2.0, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2 will display inaccurate timestamps on data, alarm, and event logs on and about March 22, 2024. Additionally, the device may cease to operate or automatically restart at the initial time of failure.

Crimson® 2.0 — Red Lion's programming software for Panel Meter and PID Controllers, which include the EPAX5, EPAX6, LPAX5, LPAX6, PAX®2A, PAX2D, PAX2S, PX2C, PAXD, PAXDP, PAXH, PAXI, PAXP, PAXS, PAXT, T16, T48, P16, P48, ICM8 and CUB®5 (Software Version 2.0 or higher). In addition, Crimson® 2.0 is used to program and configure the following G3 HMIs: G303 3 inch HMI and G306 6 inch HMI with monochrome display.

Note: Customers should use Crimson 3.0 for other automation products, which include Graphite® and G3 HMIs, Data Station Plus, Modular Controller, ProducTVity Station and E3 I/O?™ modules. Official support (changes and/or testing) of these products in Crimson 2.0 will end on December 2016.

For new projects the use of Crimson 3.0 is suggested.

Previous Builds
When downloading and installing a previous version of the software, first choose "Remove" from the Crimson 2.0 Setup Maintenance program menu to uninstall any newer version of the software that may already be on your computer, then run the Setup program again to install the older version of the software.
