The standard switches allow the network to be adapted flexibly to your conditions. The high port density and low-profile housing make for an economically viable solution that can be used universally in control cabinets, or in distributed low-profile terminal boxes. With the autonegotiation function, each T(X) port creates a half or a full duplex connection with 10 or 100 Mbit/s.
A differentiation between the 1:1 or crossed Ethernet cables is not necessary thanks to the autocrossing function. With up to two FO ports, the standard switches offer utmost flexibility and immunity to interference in industrial environments.
