New power levels from Danfoss drives.

With the introduction of 3 additional power sizes in the VLT^® 5000, VLT^® 6000HVAC and VLT^® 8000 AQUA series, Danfoss now offers power sizes up to 630kW at 690V.

Features like built-in disconnects, fused and the three enclosure variants (IP00/Chassis, IP21/NEMA type 1 and IP54/NEMA type 12) are shared with previous VLT^® variants in the high power range. The VLT^® 5000 and VLT^® 8000 AQUA extensions cover 525 – 690V. The VLT^® 6000 HVAC extension covers 525 – 600V.

A modular concept of the Danfoss high power drives will follow later. This means several parallel-coupled power units in a common enclosure offering power sizes up to 1.2MW. The result is compact, well designed and flexible units with excellent cooling options.

High efficiency components and innovation designs make Danfoss VLT^® high power drives extremely compact as well as easy to commission and operate. The IP00 enclosed drive is designed for easy installation in standard Rittal TS8 type enclosures. All drives are designed for side-by-side mounting.
