Well, people linked to industry can play their part in helping the situtation. Using variable speed drives you can reduce the amount of energy used in your organisation. 	Phoenix Contact have launched the new TRIO family of power supplies. These units provide 24VDC from 2.5A up to 20A from the single phase models. 	New Profibus interface for G3 HMI's   The G3 series HMI, which already offers more connectivity options than any other HMI on the market, now also connects to Profibus networks. With the release of the G3PB card, users can quickly add Profibus DP slave connectivity to any of the G3 models of HMIs. The card is simply added to the expansion slot of the G3 during installation. With the G3’s powerful protocol conversion facility, combined with its standard offering of three serial ports and a multiple-protocol Ethernet port, users can now realize complete system integration.
	IP66 - Drives get more protection. Danfoss have just announced the launch of IP66 enclosed VLT® drives from 3.7kW to 90kW! The IP 66 drives are suitable for installation in wash-down areas in food and beverage plants and are built to withstand the harsh cleaning agents used in the industry. IP 66 drives can be installed directly at the processing equipment without the need for protective cover. Click here to check out the details.
